Anytime ESL Online
For a newcomer who can't attend an ESL class to improve their English skills, Anytime ESL can be the solution. The Anytime ESL Program is an online English as a Second Language program. Its target audience is newcomer adults at Canadian Language Benchmark levels 1-5. Learners will complete short courses while receiving online support from an ESL Instructor.
Learners will also work to create an online portfolio to showcase improvement in reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. If you are new to Canada and are interested in learning English online, please visit www.anytimeesl.ca to find out more.
Interested learners should have a working email address, access to the internet and an appropriate device as well as some proficiency using a computer or tablet.
This is a free service available to those who qualify!
English as a Second Language
The Centres for Employment & Learning of Avon Maitland offer English as a Second Language programs. The programs are conducted in a classroom setting and are specifically designed to offer assistance to adults in the community for whom English is not their first language but who would like to speak, read and write better in English.
